Transforming Port-to-Inland Logistics
By partnering with the South Carolina Ports Authority and integrating with existing rail systems, Osprey Rail can move up to 500 tons of freight per trip. While traditional trains can haul hundreds of tons per car, Osprey Rail’s speed cannot be matched.
A standard freight train takes around 15 hours to move goods from the Port of Charleston to the Inland Port in Greer. Osprey Rail can make that same journey in under one hour.
By removing freight traffic from highways and accelerating port-to-inland movement, Osprey Rail lowers operational costs for shippers. Those savings flow downstream, reducing prices for South Carolina residents and making our state a more competitive hub for global commerce.

Efficiency That Fuels Economic Expansion
Every hour that cargo sits idle in a port yard costs money and slows economic flow. With Osprey Rail clearing containers faster than any ground system available today, we dramatically shorten dwell times, increase throughput, and unlock the full revenue potential of our ports.
According to the South Carolina Ports Authority, port operations currently generate $87 billion in economic impact. With high-speed, Maglev freight movement, we believe S.C. can add an additional $250 billion in growth, without raising taxes or altering the port’s existing budget.
